The Lover’s Dictionary

ineffable , adj.

These words will ultimately end up being the barest of reflections, devoid of the sensations words cannot convey. Trying to write about love is ultimately like trying to have a dictionary represent life. No mater how many words there are, there will never be enough.

That’s my favourite word from the book.

The Lover’s Dictionary is a book worth reading. It’s not your typical book about love cause a.) the main character doesn’t have a name and b.) it’s seriously a dictionary, except instead of the definition itself, it tells you a story.

Maybe at first you’ll be a little confused but eventually you’ll get the hang of it and you’ll be able to understand the story.
